Keeping it Simple, and Sourcing Local Organic Produce

The key to Orchid's style of cooking is Simplicity.  Nearly all ingredients are organic and locally sourced.  A large emphasis is also using ingredients that are seasonally selected.

 

Every dish is created with great care and attention.  We believe that good food does not need to be over complicated, which can lead to a totally confused palate.  Three or Four main local organic ingredients are ideal to bring out and enhance the wonderful flavours of the locally sourced produce.

 

Freshly caught Sea Food is delivered from Brixham to the Orchid every day, Live Cock Crabs,Seabass,Langoustine, Turbot to name just a few.

 

Meats are also locally sourced from prize winning Devonshire Beef to the finest Devon Lamb or local Free range, Corn Fed Chicken.

 

Clean defined tastes, combined with accurate and precise execution of all dishes is Orchid's style.  Come and see why we believe "less is actually more"
